AMDS - Alaska Mining & Diving Supply has a varied product line that has made it an important supplier to rural Alaska. The Shipping Department is a key component of
AMDS because of the expertise it has acquired over the years. This becomes apparent when products such as a large boat, motor, and trailer must be airlifted to a remote site in Alaska. Such an event is commonplace for the Shipping Department.
AMDS is comprised of three separate facilities... the Main Store, the Service Department, and the Shipping Department.
Four full-time employees staff the Shipping Department to handle the large volume of equipment being shipped daily.

AMDS is a large volume shipper, and we will often be able to find you a better shipping rate than you could obtain by yourself. You may reach the Shipping Department via email at

Important Note on Shipping: Transporting oversized items such as boats and snowmobiles can be a risky business. The shipping company is responsible for delivering your purchase in original condition. It is your responsibility, however, to examine the shipment fully upon receipt. Never sign for a shipment until you have examined it for damage caused enroute. Report the damage to the shipping company representative and make sure it is noted in writing. The shipping company, not Alaska Mining & Diving Supply, is responsible for shipping damage. Please contact our Shipping Department if you do not receive a satisfactory response from the shipping company.
